hi, I’m phoebe

I’m a twenty-something writer and creative who’s lived in Manchester for over 5 years. I moved here in 2016 to study Italian and Spanish at UoM, and after completing my Masters in Spanish Literature at Liverpool University, I made Manchester my home once again- and the rest is history.

I’m a Social Media Executive by day, and avid reader by night. You’ll often find me frequenting my city’s coffee shop offering, spending time out in nature [when the rare Manchester sunshine decides to appear], and exploring new places outside the UK as often as I can.

I’m inseparable from my headphones, soundtracking my days with doses of feel good, and I’ll always have a book in my bag. I’d say I’m an ‘extroverted introvert’, and I’m prone to watching comfort TV [from Jane the Virgin to Friends to Miranda, to name a few]. I love photography, snapping up architecture and streets in Manchester and beyond.

I often reflect and philosophise on life, and I like to write about it, sharing my thoughts and learnings. I think it’s so important to create as many small beautiful moments as we can during our fleeting and precious life, and be a good steward to those around us. And look after and nurture our minds best we can.

It’s great to have you here - and I hope you enjoy the words and thoughts I’ve crafted up on these pages.
